Job Objective

Responsible for effectively managing the leasing process by utilizing tenant acquisition and retention techniques, ensuring compliance with leasing regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to tenants, in order to maximize revenue and maintain a high tenant occupancy rate.

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage the Leasing Process

  • Oversee all aspects of the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing and move-in
  • Monitor tenant’s income and outstanding to decide follow up action
  • Coordinate with maintenance and property management teams to ensure units are ready for occupancy

2. Maximize Revenue

  • Implement strategies to optimize lease terms and pricing
  • Maintain occupancy rate trough regular and casual lease management to maximize revenue
  • Monitor market trends and adjust leasing strategies to stay competitive and profitable

3. Tenant Acquisition and Retention

  • Identify and attract prospective tenants through marketing and outreach efforts
  • Grow strong networks and maintain database of prospective tenants
  • Negotiate lease agreements that align with company goals and tenant needs

4. Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure all leasing activities comply with local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

5. Customer Service

  • Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective tenants, addressing complaints, inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally
  • Resolve tenant issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner

6. Reporting and Analysis

  • Prepare regular reports on leasing activities, occupancy rates, revenue performance, and tenant’s outstanding
  • Analyze leasing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.


Requirements

  • Education & Training Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, real estate, or a related field
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in leasing or property management, preferably in mall/property/retail industry
  • Ability to work under the target of retail space for rent.
  • Have strong network and database of prospective tenants.
  • Have an understanding of the current market condition and updated on the new tenants/brands.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of leasing laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with tenants and stakeholders.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach.
