• Cyber Defense Specialist is responsible to safeguard information system assets by actively perform vulnerability assessment, perform security assessment, penetration testing, threat hunting, ensure cloud security effectiveness, ensure proper security control, access management, manage security perimeter devices across networks, endpoint, database, application and respond to the security incident.  

1. Security Infrastructure & Access Control

• Manage security system devices/software/tools across networks, endpoints, databases, and applications.
• Security information & event management
• Ensure proper security controls and access management.        

2. Threat Detection & Risk Assessment

• Perform vulnerability assessment, security assessment, and penetration testing.
• Conduct threat hunting and ensure cloud security effectiveness.
• Manage security information and event management (SIEM).

3. Incident Response & Mitigation

• Respond to security incidents and follow security playbooks
• Provide L2 security support for escalated issues.

4. Security Projects & Continuous Improvement

• Support security-related projects and ad-hoc initiatives to enhance cybersecurity.

Requirements: 

Min. Bachelor Degree in IT field

Min 2 year of experience in Cybersecurity

A tech-savvy professional with a deep understanding of cybersecurity tools and techniques.

Hands-on experience with SIEM, firewalls, endpoint security, and cloud security configurations.

Expertise in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response.

Strong analytical skills to assess threats, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend effective solutions.
